Camellia Sale
The MLA presents an annual camellia sale as a fund-raising event for our future library expansion.
Please consider making a tax deductible donation today to support any of our Community projects! In order for us to correctly identify your intentions, please be sure to designate your donation to membership, memorial, or building fund! Thank you for your support!
When walking along the sidewalk to the library, or entering the Butterfly Garden you may have noticed bricks lining those areas The MLA has a commemorative brick project that is ongoing. These bricks may be purchased to commemorate a special day or achievements, as memorials for a loved one, or to recognize someone special. Three lines of 11 letters, spaces and punctuation will fit on one brick. The minimum donation is $75 per brick. Forms for the project are located in the library.
Community Library Expansion
The MLA would like to thank everyone who has donated to the Building Expansion and Renovation Fund thus far. We continue to move forward with plans to renovate and expand your library. At this point, our latest fund raising campaign has added over $7000.00 to our building and renovation fund. If you would like to donate, please send a check made out to the Melrose Library Association, P.O. Box 54, Melrose, FL 32666. Please note that it is for the the Building Fund on the check. The library has insufficient physical space available to support large programs that support Adult Enrichment and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) activities. The existing library facility is also in need of renovation. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Donations are tax deductible.
There is a large dumpster behind the library where you can deposit your newspapers and magazines. When it gets full, it is taken away and replaced another empty dumpster. The proceeds earned from recycling benefits the Melrose Library Association’s general fund. That fund is used to support programs and projects around the library. Thanks for your support.
